Illinois High School coach (Lincoln-Way East) and IKWF coach (Falcons Wrestling Club), Ray Rossi, has just released his new book entitled, Blood Is Made To Be Broken. The fictional account details the uncertainties facing a high school wrestler, his father, who is the mayor of a large city, the problems associated with a massive airport expansion, and most poignantly, the possible kidnapping and murder of an attractive city employee who was the son's girlfriend.
The mystery and suspense novel describes the plights of the Mayor of Napland, a city of over 100,000 residents. The Mayor's troubles begin after he hires his son's attractive girlfriend to work for the City. The girl accompanies the Mayor on a fact-finding tour of U.S. airports and shortly after their return, she disappears. The fictional account details the high school wrestling career of the Mayor's son, the political scandal, and prejudices inherent in society.
About The Author:
Ray Rossi has published over fifty articles of general interest and is a published author of political and legal works—and some poetry. Ray was elected to public office over a dozen times, including a twelve-year tour of duty as a mayor and appointed by Illinois governors to serve on several Authorities. He is the recipient of some two dozen national awards for professional and community service. A past college instructor, Ray coached college and high school wrestling and currently coaches a sizeable youth wrestling team. He holds B.A., M.B.A. and J.D. degrees, is a civil litigator and President of the law firm of Bishop, Rossi & Scarlati, Ltd. Ray lives in the Chicagoland area with his wife. This is his first novel.
